In the state of West Virginia, Family Preservation Services of West Virginia, Inc. (“FPS of West Virginia”) provides services as a wholly owned subsidiary of Providence. Established in 1992, FPS of West Virginia is licensed by the Department of Health and Human Resources, and is the largest provider of community based services in the area.
FPS of West Virginia provides a continuum of community, home and school based services to children, adolescents, adults and families through local, state and federal program initiatives. FPS of West Virginia is dedicated to serving children and families in their own communities. We work with state and local teams to identify needs and to make appropriate services available to rural and urban communities.
