Behavioral Monitoring

A strong component of FPS's services to children and families is Behavioral Health Monitoring. Through different approaches, FPS maintains consistent records of the progress achieved by clients in our programs.
Daily reports allow clinicians to follow cases closely, and identifies trends and patterns in the child's response to treatment. This can significantly enhance the treatment process enabling clinicians to adjust the child's treatment to the most appropriate level of care and to intervene in potentially volatile situations before crisis occurs, reducing the need for more intensive services.
Case Managers frequently check in with parents and families to determine the well-being of clients between counseling sessions. In this way case management adds to the clinical team's ability to track progress, identify patterns of behavior, and de-escalate a potential crisis before it results in hospitalization for the child.
